Retail Distributor Terms and Conditions

- Publisher reserves the right to revise its distribution schedule at any time upon thirty (30) days notice in writing or via email.
- Distributor shall charge the retail fee of no less than $5 per issue for the magazines. The recommended price is $6 per issue.
- Distributor shall not accept subscription requests. All subscription requests shall be forwarded to the publisher.
- There is a minimum purchase requirement of 12 issues. Publisher will sell issues to the Distributor in quantities of 12.
- Publisher will only accept payments in the following forms: credit card, bank certified business check, money order, and cash. No personal checks will be accepted.
- A fee of $25 will be charged on all returned checks in addition to the original check amount.
- Magazines will be shipped to the distribution locations upon receipt of payment.
- Distributor may cancel this agreement upon notice in writing or via email to Publisher. Email account must be the email address registered and on file with the Publisher.
- Publisher is not bound by any verbal agreement, nor by any arrangement not specifically stated in this agreement.
- This agreement constitutes the final, complete, and exclusive statement of the terms of the agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous understanding or agreements of the parties. Any change to this agreement must be made in writing. Waiver of any of the terms of this agreement by Publisher for the convenience of the Distributor shall not prevent Publisher from subsequently enforcing all the terms hereof.
- This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of GA, the County of Dekalb, and the City of Stone Mountain, in which the principal office of Publisher is located, shall be the forum for any legal action relating to this agreement and to any distribution related conflicts.

For valuable consideration received, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, I hereby forever grant to Naptural Roots Publishing, LLC (publisher of Naptural Roots Magazine), its legal representatives, successors, assigns, licensees, advertising agencies, and all persons or corporations acting with its permission, the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use, re-use, publish and re-publish, and copyright my performance, likeness, picture, portrait, photograph, sound and/or voice recording, including the negatives, transparencies, prints, film, video, tapes, digital or other information pertaining to them in all forms of media now or hereafter known and in all manner, including electronic media, in still, single, multiple, moving or video format, in whole or part and/or composite representations, in conjunction with my own or a fictitious name, including alterations, modifications, derivations and composites thereof, throughout the world and universe for advertising, promotion, trade, or any lawful purposes.
This right shall include, but not be limited to, the right to combine the Talent/Model’s likeness with others and to alter my likeness, by digital means or otherwise, for the purposes set forth herein.
I acknowledge that the Model/Talent has natural hair that has not been treated with chemicals designed to change its texture unless those products are all naturally derived.
I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written copy that may be created in connection therewith or the use to which it may be applied.
I affirm that I am over the age of majority and that I am fully able to contract in my own name without breach of any prior agreement or applicable law, including but not limited to prior agreements with modeling or talent agencies or any other person, company or entity.
I have read the above release and agreement, prior to its execution; I fully understand the contents and consequences thereof. This agreement shall be binding upon me and my heirs, legal representatives and assigns.
Please note:
- Naptural Roots Publishing will NOT sell your photos to any third parties.
- Photos must be your own personal property.
- Photo credits will your business name only. To receive full photo credit (additional contact information included in magazine), current advertising rates will apply. Please see Media Kit for advertising rates.
- DPI must be 300 (dots per inch) or higher
- 4 x 6 or 5 x 7 photos should be scanned at 250% and 8 x 10 at 100% (minimum of 1800 pixels wide)
- Photos should be CMYK or grayscale mode
- File extensions (type) must be TIFF, JPEG or EPS.
- Images taken with digital cameras (at least 5 Megapixels) should be created using the highest-quality JPEG setting (usually marked "fine" or "high") on your camera. TIFF images should be saved with LZW compression.)
- Our publication page size is 5.5" x 8.5".
- Name each file with the subject name and image number (ie subjectName1, subjectName2, etc)
- DO NOT crop your images. Leave the cropping to us.
- DO NOT alter photos. Images should not be corrected for color, sharpness, size, or color mode. Again, it's best if you leave this work to us.
